WANT TO GET YOUR CHART DONE?

I'm not doing charts these days. But I can recommend a colleague whose astro-aesthetics closely match my own. She's RO LOUGHRAN.

Ro utilizes a blend of well-trained intuition, emotional warmth, and a high degree of technical proficiency in horoscope interpretation; she is skilled at exploring the mysteries of your life's purpose and nurturing your connection with your own inner wisdom.

In addition to over 20 years of astrological experience, Ro is also a licensed psychotherapist, allowing her to integrate psychological insight with the cosmological perspective that astrology offers.

Ro is based in California, but can do phone consultations and otherwise work with you regardless of geographic boundaries.

Check out Ro's website.

Or you can reach her at roloughran@comcast.net

Wet Ink

IndyMedia reports under the wire.

Body Politic

Tikkun Magazine is a progressive's heaven, with more links to more thinkers than we, frankly, had ever thought of. For example with the above link, "Healing After Terror," they publish a sweet stiff sip of Rabbi Michael Lerner's uplifting wisdom.

Collective Wisdom

Eric Francis' Planet Waves

Eric Francis has one of the best astrology sites on the Web. Here's the blurb I wrote for him to use on the back cover of the book he's working on:

Eric is knowledgeable yet humble. I admire his ability to open my mind with his insights without having to impress me with his expertise. He's the kind of teacher I like best--specific and authoritative in communicating what he has discovered even as he pushes ahead into the unknown with relentless curiosity.

Savvy Spirituality

Religion is a form of social control I don't subscribe to. (Unless it's in the form Krishnamurti imagined it: five billion unique religions, one for every person on the planet.) Storming the queendom of heaven (not the kingdom), on the other hand, is a full-time spiritual job for me. To aid in this work I borrow elements of tantra, feminism, Qabala, Tarot, and my extensive experience as a shamanic janitor.

On the Internet, I use the following resources for my spiritual play. They're concentrated in the areas of Qabalah, Tarot, and the Western Hermetic tradition.

The Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn

The Builders of the Adytum

Gate to Qabalah

Terence McKenna

I'm also partial to:
Beliefnet.com, a tremendous resource of wise words in troubled times.

The Gnostic Society Library, which presents a tremendous compendium of wisdom and links.

Total Tomfoolery

Why pound your own nine-inch nails when you can leaven it a bit by expressing your sturm und your drang through the handy-dandy ease of the Goth Poem Generator?

Pronoiac People

Rob no longer can afford the time-luxury of doing personalized horoscope readings, but he highly recommends his astrological colleague Ro Loughran

Rob's Summer Vacation

Labor your Days away at the annual Burning Man instant art nation at Black Rock City Aug. 26-Sept. 3 in the Nevada desert.
